"As a boy in a farm, he would cry every morning that he had to work in the field. In high school, he knew his muse was music. 

His first hit, "Be My Lady" did not win an award at first till it was recorded by Martin Nievera and later, Matt Munro. 

Another hit, "Forever's Not Enough," became a signature disc for Sarah Geromino, too.

For him, a song is like a dress for a certain singer with the voice range of the notes.

He attributes his talent and inspiration to God for which he is deeply grateful that his children will continue receiving royalties long after he is gone, when his songs will still be around."
