The black American Olympic gold medalist in track-and-field:
was not given a handshake by Hitler,
still sat at the back of the bus in the US upon his return,
promised movies did not materialize except as a movie reel documentary of the Olympics,
treated to a "restaurant" in NY called Sabrett,
had to leave receptions after he was awarded,
had to close his losing Olympic Cleaners business
going back to college at Ohio State U, he became Assistant Coach handing out towels,
IRS ran after him for unpaid taxes when he gave most of his money to helping others. The Judge decided in his favor.
