In his book "Life Principles," Injap (Intsik father and Japanese mother) Sia recounted studying the mechanics of how to win a Honda Civic in a Nestle contest 2002. In order to "submit the most number of replies via mobile text messages to survey questions... he enlisted the help of Ernie, a college classmate who agreed to help him win the contest in exchange for a P200/day ...and a bonus of an upscale Nokia phone then worth around P10, 000, if they win the top prize.
