Mediating Millennials

Queena Lee-Chua's column in the Inquirer deals with them at the workplace. She wrote of Stanford University's psychologist Carol Dweck and her "idea of growth versus fixed mind-set in schools. Students with a growth mindset are not so worried about failing, and so they take on more challenges, persist longer and are more resilient in the face of setbacks. Those with a fixed mindset tend to see challenges as risky and effort and setbacks as signs of limited talent."

Empowerment is the key word for growth that values innovation and creativity. Mediation is in total agreement.
