Yesterday's brownout reminded me of the other power struggle in mediation. There two sides are in friction, bringing about another energy less desirable than electricity.
There are the raised emotions mostly negative toward the other side. Likewise the rigidity of self-righteousness and the blame game on the opponent. Likewise the to and fro motion of accusations and counters or denials. So passions pick up to a crescendo leading to vindictiveness and exacting of Portia's "pound of flesh."
If reading the last paragraph was a drain, imagine going through such in real time!
