Such a shame

For not paying their school canteen lunch, students in the US were shabbily treated. Their lunch tray was taken away and thrown to the garbage bin, and they were given a cheese sandwich instead, if they were lucky. Or a kind canteen staff paid for their lunch. Instead of a star, "lunch unpaid" was stamped on their wrist.

All for a $2.05  lunch! These lunch-shamers were most probably trained by horrible credit collectors from hell. School guidance counselors could then double as mediators.
